Job Description:
Advising departments within the company on technical issues
Providing technical data to customers and potential customers
Conducting training sessions for employees on technical issues
Maintaining a library of industry standards and ensuring that the company is in compliance
Reviewing and approving electrical material and design used
Performing functional tests on equipment and preparing inspection reports on tests performed
Developing new products and recommending improvements for existing products
Performing job site inspections and investigations as needed
Performing drawing development tasks as required
Providing estimating support for projects as required
Responsible for understanding the entire Code of Conduct and complying with its requirements
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
BS, Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of ANSI/IEEE Standards & Guides, National Electric Code and IEC Standards
Able to use word-processing, spreadsheet and database software
Able to read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals and reports
Able to effectively present information to top management or public groups
Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts
Minimum 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience on onshore petrochemical projectsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
