The Manager of Corporate Strategy will report to and be a strategic partner to the Vice President of Corporate Development.
This role will support all aspects of the company's growth efforts, including driving evaluation of new markets and business models, conducting commercial due diligence, executing potential mergers and acquisitions, and collaborating with functional leaders in developing and communicating a point of view on investment, acquisition, and partnership opportunities, as well as driving continuous improvement of HCSS' strategic development processes.
This is a highly visible role, interacting frequently with the executive team and functional leaders.
A successful candidate will have the capability to develop relationships with and work cross-functionally with all aspects of the business and with our primary financial sponsor, Thoma Bravo.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Partner with the executive team to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, shape strategy, and identify areas of M&A focus; Assist with sourcing and analyzing acquisition/partnership opportunities that align to the company's strategies; Support due diligence activities with M&A targets in cooperation with our private equity partner; Lead research and analysis of key markets to understand and articulate market trends and growth opportunities; Monitor the competitive landscape to help identify and prioritize opportunities that accelerate our strategy, including thorough tracking of key players, cultivating relevant companies and experts, and interaction with investment bankers in coordination with the VP of Corporate Development; Form independent points of view on the risks and opportunities associated with markets and potential targets to avoid groupthink; Analyze complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations to our leadership; Drive continuous improvement of our strategy, pricing, market work, and due diligence efforts; Work collaboratively with other departments to drive execution / implementation of high priority, high impact initiatives; Developing and managing post-merger integration activities across the entire organization; Lead the development of additional ad hoc analyses, executive leadership content, and financial modeling that support the evaluation of key strategic options Required skills/abilities:
BS/BA in Business, Engineering, or related degree; Minimum of 3 years of experience in the technology industry required (software preferred); 5
years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity and/or corporate development preferred; Demonstrated strong project planning, workstream ownership, and cross-functional team management and participation skills; Strong leadership skills and ability to work both individually and manage/ lead team projects; A self-starter who is resourceful and operates comfortably in ambiguous environments Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and distill into actionable insights for senior leadership; Superior interpersonal skills - ability to develop relationships with senior leaders internally and externally; Proven ability to build consensus and influence decision making; Superior written / verbal communication skills, and quantitative and analytical skills; Experience with technology and software industry; technical acumen, interest, and ability to understand technical and financial concepts quickly; Ability to travel as needed (estimated.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
