Job Description:
Physician Assistant (PA)
Responsibilities:
Perform new patient evaluations and pre- and post-procedure assessments.
Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
Provide thorough patient education and discussion of procedure expectations.
Coordinate pre- and post-procedure care including, but not limited to phone follow-ups, medication management, ordering and interpreting pertinent laboratory and imaging studies, peri-procedural pain management.
Assist and perform office-based procedures under physician supervision.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday.
No nights, no weekends.
No in-house call.
After-hours telephone call availability is highly desirable.
Requirements:
2 years of experience in a busy office/clinic setting is strongly preferred.
Interventional radiology experience is not required.
Willingness to travel between offices when needed.
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant Program.
NCCPA certification.
Active Texas Physician Assistant license and DEA.
