Pilot Plant Manager
Insight Global is looking for a Chemical Plant Manager for a Oil & Gas clients Pilot Plant located in Sugarland, Tx.
This person will be managing around 5 to 6 individuals whose skill sets vary from chemical engineers, process engineers & non-technical operators.
This role is responsible for ensuring the RD&E Pilot Plant is operating efficiently, effectively and safely while working directly with the RD&E group and Plant Operations.
This role will involve using scale up processes for the production of new technologies and will be working with reactive chemistry such as latex polarization, batch scales, and ultra-sonic manufacturing for nano particles.
This person will be reporting directly into the VP of R&D and needs to be versatile and able to work in a cross functional environment.
This role will be onsite in Sugarland M-F ensuring the Pilot Plant is remaining environmentally compliant and regulated, optimizing business growth and overall seeing the operations of the plant.
Master's Degree Managerial Experience Process Engineering Experience Plant Manufacturing Experience SAP Experience Ansys Experience AutoCAD Experience Experience at a R&D learning plant Batch Chemical Plant Experience Experience in a High Pressure EnvironmentBachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or a related field Minimum of 5 years of technology and process scale up Experience with new product development and processes Experience with Chemical Plant Operations Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Prior leadership experience, ex.
