You will teach help our students -- aged K-10th grade -- take their English reading and writing skills to the next level.
You will be assigned to teach grade levels you feel comfortable with.
Teachers provide instruction in a small-group setting in weekly one-hour classes.
You will provide feedback on students' writing assignments, which include essays and responses to reading comprehension problems.
Interested applicants should be available to teach during after-school hours on some weekdays, and/or weekends.
Hours are flexible, so choose the times that work best for your schedule.
We offer competitive compensation, free training using our franchised materials, and a friendly working atmosphere.
Responsibilities and Duties Tutor in a small class setting (students are grades K-10) Give individualized feedback to help students improve their writing skills Keep track of students' progress and regularly provide written comments on students' performance Qualifications and Skills Experienced teachers, tutors, published writers 4-year college/university degree in a relevant field like English or humanities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, having the ability to motivate and encourage students Creativity and a positive attitude.
