Qualifications:
oEducation:
Minimum associate degree oExperience not required, but prior hands-on laboratory experience in chemical testing laboratory is a plus oProficiency in Excel and Word to record and process lab data oSolid knowledge of chemistry calculations including stoichiometry, concentrations, and ratios.
oCandidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
Responsibilities:
oPrepare laboratory samples from oilfield chemicals and conduct analytical and/or physical measurements.
oPerform testing of samples and quality control using specified methodology oPrepare and standardize reagents and solutions.
oPerform periodic calibrations or verifications of laboratory instruments and equipment oPerform basic troubleshooting and repair of equipment and instruments oRecord test results and prepare reports for tested products oPerform work safely while handling acids and other oilfield chemicals under temperature and pressure.
oMaintain the required training and certifications.
oParticipate in safety and quality initiatives.
oWear personal protective equipment and observe safety policies.
oPerform risk analysis before each task or job to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
oDevelop and revise testing protocols and standard operating procedures.
oMaintain laboratory cleanliness, laboratory waste, and ensure proper disposal in accordance with environmental regulations oMaintain documentation, equipment, and work areas in a neat and orderly condition Job Types:
